Walk Connemara offers this through a three-four hour guided walk. It includes an ancient path along the fjord which is overlooked by the dramatic Mweelrea mountains. The coastal scenery is breathtaking. Your guide will entertain you with local history, cultural insight, and explanation of the nature while helping you to stay safe on this rugged terrain. There is much to explore in this land, to which the eminent German philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein escaped in 1948 and referred to as "the last pool of darkness in Europe". Requires a reasonable level of fitness along with waterproof walking boots with ankle support and outdoor clothing.

We will confirm your booking via email within 48 hours. In the unlikely event that there is no guide available on your chosen date, we will give you a full refund (or you can choose an alternate date).
